What I Did During Quarantine

 

As you all are aware, this year has been rather chaotic, and we have all experienced a few unexpected twists and turns!  Unless you hail from a remote corner of the earth, you are very accustomed to this concept of quarantine.  The middle of March through the beginning of May was my state’s tightest time of restriction, and we confined ourselves to our property for the majority of the duration.  I thought it would be fun to look back someday at a list of random things I did for the first time during quarantine!

• Baked banana bread 🍌
• Video-called my Economics professor using Canvas 💻
• Had a virtual toilet paper fight 🧻
• Demonstrated the floss for my youngest brother 💃
• Oversaw the schoolwork of my two youngest siblings 📚
• Had a pun war with one of my older brothers 🧀
• Finished an audiobook 🎧
• Harmonized (singing) while I played viola 🎻
• Went bowling, social-distancing style (AKA on the Wii) 🎳
• Frisbee-golfed on the Wii ⛳
• Used Facebook Live 🎹
• Laid on the floor during {home} church ⛪
• Ate donuts during {home} church 🍩
• Discovered that a certain brother of mine and myself STILL shouldn’t sit next to each other during {home--but also in-person} church… 😁
• Taught the youngest brother to tie a double knot 👟
• Started my first online class 🖳
• Created a life-sized Chutes and Ladder’s game with sidewalk chalk 👧
• Had my first FaceTime piano lesson 📱
• Finished a high school course 💪 
• Ate ice cream in the grass 🍦
• Sang in the church foyer 🎤
• Had a video conversation about potatoes and spoons 🥔🥄
• Played straight through 50 hymns without stopping 🛑
• Wrote a song about death clouds ⛈
• Graduated 🎓
• Accompanied + sang for church at the same time 😵
• Hung 3 instruments on my wall 🔨
• Bought a Star Wars ringtone 🤩
